Artikel 49.(1) Die Bundesgesetze und die im Art. 50 bezeichneten Staatsverträge sind vom Bundeskanzler im Bundesgesetzblatt kundzumachen. Ihre verbindende Kraft beginnt, wenn nicht ausdrücklich anderes bestimmt ist, nach Ablauf des Tages, an dem die Nummer des Bundesgesetzblattes, das die Kundmachung enthält, herausgegeben und versendet wird, und erstreckt sich, wenn nicht ausdrücklich anderes bestimmt ist, auf das gesamte Bundesgebiet; dies gilt jedoch nicht für Staatsverträge, die durch Erlassung von Gesetzen zu erfüllen sind (Art. 50 Abs. 2).(2) Anläßlich der Genehmigung von Staatsverträgen gemäß Art. 50 kann der Nationalrat beschließen, daß der Staatsvertrag oder einzelne genau bezeichnete Teile des Staatsvertrages nicht im Bundesgesetzblatt, sondern in anderer zweckentsprechender Weise kundzumachen sind. Ein solcher Beschluß des Nationalrates hat die Kundmachungsweise, die die Zugänglichkeit des Staatsvertrages für die Dauer seiner Geltung gewährleisten muß, anzugeben und ist vom Bundeskanzler im Bundesgesetzblatt kundzumachen. Die verbindende Kraft solcher Staatsverträge beginnt, wenn nicht ausdrücklich anderes bestimmt ist, nach Ablauf des Tages, an dem die Nummer des Bundesgesetzblattes, das die Kundmachung des Beschlusses des Nationalrates enthält, herausgegeben und versendet wird, und erstreckt sich, wenn nicht ausdrücklich anderes bestimmt ist, auf das gesamte Bundesgebiet. (3) Über das Bundesgesetzblatt ergeht ein besonderes Bundesgesetz.

第49条(1) 連邦法および第50条に掲げられた条約は、連邦首相により連邦官報において告知されることとする。その拘束力は、明確な特段の定めのない限り、その公布についての記載のある連邦官報の号が出版され送付される日の経過後に始まり、明確な特段の定めのない限り、全連邦領域に及ぶが、但し、法律の発布を目的とする条約に関してはこれを適用しない（第50条第２項）。(2) 第50条による条約の承認の機会に、国民議会は、その条約または条約の個々の的確に表現された部分が連邦官報ではなく他の目的にあった方法で告知されるべきことを、決することができる。国民議会のこのような決議は、条約の到達可能性の有効期間を保証すべき告知方法を示さねばならず、連邦官報において連邦首相により告知されることとする。このような条約の拘束力は、明確な特段の定めのない限り、国民議会の決議の公布についての記載のある連邦官報の号が出版され送付される日の経過後に始まり、明確な特段の定めのない限り、全連邦領域に及ぶ。 (3) 連邦官報に関しては、特別な連邦法が発布される。

Art. 49.(1) Federal laws and the treaties specified in Art. 50 shall be published by the Federal Chancellor in the Federal Law Gazette. Unless explicitly provided otherwise, their entry into force begins with expiry of the day on which the number of the Federal Law Gazette containing their publication is issued and distributed, and it extends, unless explicitly provided otherwise, to the entire Federal territory; this does not however hold good for treaties which are to be implemented by the issue of laws (Art.50 para. 2).(2) The National Council can on the occasion of giving its sanction to treaties pursuant to Art. 50 resolve that a treaty or individual explicitly specified parts of it shall be published not in the Federal Law Gazette but in another appropriate manner. Such a resolution by the National Council has to state the manner of publication, which must guarantee the accessibility of the treaty for the duration of its validity, and shall be notified by the Federal Chancellor in the Federal Law Gazette. Unless explicitly provided otherwise, the entry into force of such treaties begins with expiry of the day on which the number of the Federal Law Gazette containing the notification of the resolution by the National Council is issued and distributed, and it extends, unless explicitly provided otherwise, to the entire Federal territory.. . . (3) A special Federal law on the Federal Law Gazette will be promulgated.
