Artikel 124.(1) Der Präsident des Rechnungshofes wird im Falle seiner Verhinderung vom rangältesten Beamten des Rechungshofes (Anm.: richtig: Rechnungshofes) vertreten. Dies gilt auch, wenn das Amt des Präsidenten erledigt ist. Die Stellvertretung des Präsidenten des Rechnungshofes im Nationalrat wird durch das Bundesgesetz über die Geschäftsordnung des Nationalrates bestimmt.(2) Im Falle der Stellvertretung des Präsidenten gelten für den Stellvertreter die Bestimmungen des Artikel 123 Abs. 1.

第124条(1) 会計検査院の長官は、その故障の場合には、会計検査院の最高位の公務員により代理される。長官職が空位の時にもまた、これを準用する。国民議会における会計検査院の長官の代位は、国民議会の議院規則に関する連邦法により定められる。(2) 長官の代位の場合においては、代位者に関し第123条第１項の規定を適用する。

Art. 124.(1) Should the President of the Public Audit Office be prevented from the discharge of his responsibilities, the senior official of the Public Audit Office will act for him. This also holds good if the office of President is vacant. Who shall act in the National Council as deputy for the President of the Public Audit Office is settled by the Federal law on the National Council's Standing Orders.(2) If someone deputizes for the President, the provisions of Art. 123 para. 1 apply to the deputy.
