Artikel 43.
Einer Volksabstimmung ist jeder Gesetzesbeschluß des Nationalrates nach Beendigung des Verfahrens gemäß Artikel 42, jedoch vor seiner Beurkundung durch den Bundespräsidenten, zu unterziehen, wenn der Nationalrat es beschließt oder die Mehrheit der Mitglieder des Nationalrates es verlangt.

国民投票には、国民議会がこれを決議するかもしくは国民議会議員の大多数がこれを要求するならば、第42条による手続終了後、但し連邦大統領による認証以前に、国民議会のすべての法律案の議決が付されるものとする。

Art. 43.
If the National Council so resolves or if the majority of members of the National Council so demands, every enactment of the National Council shall be submitted to a referendum upon conclusion of the procedure pursuant to Art. 42 above but before its authentication by the Federal President.
