Artikel 148d.
Die Volksanwaltschaft hat dem Nationalrat und dem Bundesrat jährlich über ihre Tätigkeit zu berichten. Die Mitglieder der Volksanwaltschaft haben das Recht, an den Verhandlungen über die Berichte der Volksanwaltschaft im Nationalrat und im Bundesrat sowie in deren Ausschüssen (Unterausschüssen) teilzunehmen und auf ihr Verlangen jedesmal gehört zu werden. Dieses Recht steht den Mitgliedern der Volkanwaltschaft auch hinsichtlich der Verhandlungen über die die Volksanwaltschaft betreffenden Kapitel des Entwurfes des Bundesfinanzgesetzes im Nationalrat und in seinen Ausschüssen (Unterausschüssen) zu. Näheres bestimmen das Bundesgesetz über die Geschäftsordnung des Nationalrates und die Geschäftsordnung des Bundesrates.

オンブズマンは、毎年その活動に関して国民議会および連邦参議院に報告しなければならない。オンブズマンの構成員は、国民議会および連邦参議院ならびにそれらの委員会（小委員会）におけるオンブズマンの報告に関する審議に参加し、その請求に基づいて何時でも発言する権利を有する。この権利は、国民議会およびその委員会（小委員会）における連邦予算法原案のオンブズマンが関係する章に関する審議に関してもオンブズマンの構成員に属する。詳細は、国民議会の議院規則、および連邦参議院の議院規則に関する連邦法によって定める。

Art. 148d.
The ombudsman board shall annually render the National Council and the Federal Council a report on its activity. The members of the ombudsman board are entitled to participate in the debates by the National Council and the Federal Council and by their committees (sub-committees) on the ombudsman board's reports and on each occsaion to be given at their request a hearing. The members of the ombudsman board shall have this right also in respect of the debates by the National Council and its committees (sub-committees) on the draft Federal Finance Act's sections concerning the ombudsman board. Details are stipulated in the Federal law on the National Council's Standing Orders and the Standing Orders of the Federal Council.
