The summary of career
1950 　The Takaoka High School biological club began investigation of the Opisthobranchs that live in Abugashima, Toyama Bay. 　　　　　　　　　　　　　　With Dr. K. Hori, the proposal person of the study, 　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　at Abugashima, July, 1950⇒
1951 　The guidance of Dr. Kikutaro Baba began. The Noto Marine Biological Laboratory attached to The Kanazawa University, 　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　Aug. 1960⇒
1953 　After graduation they formed ‘Opistha Club’.
1957 　Opistha club began investigation in the Japan Sea. 　 　The 1st time, they went to Hegurajima Isl.. 　 　Continued since then and it investigates the 42nd in Wakasa Bay.
1957 　They recieved their first Prime Minister's prize, The Japanese Students Science Award, for their investigations..
1958 　The Emperor Majesty looked at our data. 　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　Takeo Abe, on the ship to Abugasima⇒
1964 　Opisthobranchia of Toyama bay and Adjacent Waters( edited by the Takaoka High School Biological Club) was published under the supervisions of Dr. K. Baba.⇒
'Takaoka Biological Club' was organized.
1967 　An organization journal 'JANOLUS' was first published. 　　The study of Opisthobranchia is mentioned to the journal.
1969 　The Emperor Majesty looked at our data.
1978 　The distribution of Opisthobranchia From The Japan Sea coasts was published.
1985 　Nature of the Takaoka castle park was published.
1992 　The List of Opisthobranchs from the Japan Sea coasts of Middle Japan was made under the supervisions of Dr. K. Baba.
1997 　We held Sea slugs exhibition at the Uozu aquarium. 　We won the most excellent active prize in 1st Toyama Environment Award.⇒
1999 　The journal 'JANOLUS' volume 100 was published.⇒
2000 　Published CD-ROM Sea slug from the Japan sea coasts of Middle Japan, and 192 species were described. 2002 　In the update edition, 208 species are discribed.
